After I started menopause, everything in my body went haywire, including the moisture level all over my skin and face. Lately I had very dry patches along my jaw and eyebrow. I sought guidance from a skin care expert who recommended rosehip oil, plus a more robust use of my washcloth against my skin. At first I was hesitant because I do not care for rose scented lotions. Yeah... about that...This product, while very effective in my skin care routine, smells positively DISGUSTING. I apply it while breathing through my mouth (!), after using hyaluronic oil, but before squalene oil, then finish off with a retinol moisturizer and then a lavender night layer.I have seen a definite improvement in my skin's moisture and I attribute that to this rosehip oil and updated routine. I do not care for the pump dispenser; would prefer a dropper like with my other oils. The smell is repulsive but after a few moments and three more skincare steps, it does dissipate. Not sure what makes this product smell so gross, but now I kinda wish it did smell more like regular roses! I'll continue using because I really like the results. Maybe one day in the future they can adjust the recipe so it doesn't smell like actual garbage or used french fry oil.
